After some agonising bureaucracy The Transparency Project is starting to feel real. Not only have we finally accomplished the apparently herculean task of opening a bank account but we have also this week received confirmation that our application for recognition by the Charity Commission has been accepted.
Thus, our Registered Charity Number is 1161471.
And we have set up a JustGiving account so that we can receive donations by text message. Just text TRPR15 £10 to 70070 to donate £10 (just change the amount if you want to donate more).
We’ll be sorting out things like Gift Aid registration in due course.
And it’s only a matter of weeks until our first event.
